Feasibility Studies
We carry surveys and prepare reports for large site
re-modelling/extension and for new multi-use sites taking into consideration the client’s budget, balanced against installation costs, energy payback and running costs, maintenance strategies etc.
Design
JRA provide high quality and robust specifications and layout drawings for Design Build and Traditional/Full Design procurement for all market sectors, all types of mechanical and electrical services installations.
Cost Analysis
In conjunction with the project QS we prepare detailed budget costs with options for value engineering, analysis of contractor tender returns, and monitoring site progress against contractor valuations.
Technical Surveillance
Throughout the design and construction stages we carry out compliance monitoring which include checks on the site installations, review of design/working drawings, witnessing commissioning operations and preparation of defects reports.

We have in-house approved assessors for provision of SBEM, SAP and Energy Performance Certificates (EPC’s). We regularly carry out reports for issuing to Planners and Building Control Officers detailing how sites can achieve the required energy savings using renewable technologies, and which technologies are best suited to the particular site.
Acoustician
Acoustician duties include environmental measurements, Planning Stage and Construction stage Noise Reports, to BS4142, NPPF, BB93/98, BREEAM requirements and construction stage advice, including design or performance venue acoustics.
